Murrelet Place's location was ideal for us and we were impressed by the quality of the finishing of the units and our decision to purchase a home within this complex was one we have never regretted. The Developers' team, including the Sales Manager and the Construction Site Superintendent, has proved to be reliable, forthright and cooperative and they have done everything possible to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our new home. Since moving in, we have used a few of the original sub-contractors to install some minor upgrades to our unit and we were impressed with their work and professional attitude. We bought here because it had the most well thought out floor plan of all the patio homes in the valley, which suited our needs to perfection. The attention to detail was another strong attraction for us, we love the double French doors in the den, the nook for our desk, the 11 foot ceilings in the living room, dropping down to a 9 foot ceiling in the kitchen and dining - very clever design. We would definitely recommend Agius Builders Ltd. to anyone who is considering purchasing a home they have built. We have found them to be a company who obviously cares if their client is happy or not as they have been very approachable and amenable to our needs. Sincerely, Karyn and Gilles Ruel Ray and I purchased at Murrelet Place because, after looking for many months at patio homes in the Comox Valley, we felt the construction, floor plans, location and finishing touches were superior to anything else that we had seen. We first found the information on the internet way back in 2006 before there ever was a show home. Once the sales centre was set up we went about choosing the location of our particular patio home, the colour scheme and the floor plan. Tom, the sales agent, treated us with the utmost professionalism and kept us in the loop regarding time of construction, new information that came up and any changes that were made, etc. We were living in Alberta at the time and did a lot of the planning via the internet. We came out several times during construction and Tom went out of his way to meet us even though it wasn't during regular office hours. He also took us to see a similar project that was completed in Nanaimo so we could have a better idea of the finished product. The builder has an excellent reputation and we're pleased to say that in this project he has lived up to his name. The construction crew was excellent to work with - always willing to answer questions and addressing any problems that surfaced in a timely, efficient and friendly manner. We are so happy we made the move to the Comox Valley and to Murrelet Place in particular. We are within walking distance of a variety stores and services and a very short drive to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. This truly is the "best place on earth"! Ray and Donna Northrup Unit 69 I chose to buy a patio home in Murrelet Place because the layout was just what I was looking for, nice and bright and has a "super" open concept, all the rooms are of a great size. We bought in September 2007 before our unit was built and we had possession in August 2008, the wait was worth it. The location is very handy to all amenities. It was the best move I have ever made as I have told many people that I will never move again. The neighbors are great people and to date we have had no problems with the builders crew, they appear to be on their toes. If that designer colour package and all those new appliances were not enough, certainly details like kitchen drawer closers and that heated porcelain floor certainly were. Carol & George Vinall Ray and I decided on Murrelet Place after many months of looking for a patio home that was in a good location, that was good quality without being too costly and somewhere that we would be proud to call home. We like the location, which is within walking distance of grocery stores, drug stores, coffee shops, etc. We like the fact that the homes have double garages and the interior finishing is top quality. We contacted the sales agent Tom, and began the process of purchasing, choosing colours, and choosing the location of our particular site within the project, etc. We are sooooo pleased that we made that choice! We love our patio home! Tom treated us very professionally throughout the whole process, keeping us informed of changes, etc. We were living in Alberta at the time and made several trips out to watch the progress, which moved along so smoothly our home was ready ahead of schedule by several months! Because we were travelling from out of province Tom went out of his way to meet us even though it wasn't during his regular office hours. Our home was in the second phase and we were in a construction zone for most of the first year here, however, the construction crews were so accommodating, friendly and cognizant of the families who were already living here that we missed them when they moved out of our area! Any problems we had were addressed in a very timely manner and the builder certainly has lived up to his reputation of offering a quality product at a fair price.
